Not just a cafe...

Angel Cafe is a project of Angel Lane, a CIC leading the way in Trauma Informed Practice.
Because of that, our proceeds go to good causes that benefit the community around us. We offer a playspace, meeting area, we enable Friday storytime at the cafe to be free, and a host of other great things.

Ela

Ela is a nutritionist and intuitive eating counsellor. Her work focuses on supporting people in healing their relationship with food and learning to accept and respect their here-and-now bodies. Intuitive eating and body acceptance work are instruments to re-establish trust between ourselves and our bodies, and move away from diet mentality thinking to food and body freedom. Ela uses mindfulness and visualisation techniques in her work with clients, and offers EFT (emotional freedom technique) as an additional tool to reduce anxiety and negative beliefs around food and body image.

She predominantly works with clients on a 121 basis (online or in person). She has collaborated with local and national businesses and runs retreats, courses and workshops on intuitive and mindful eating, body acceptance and nutrition. She has an online course on baby-led weaning – the first step of becoming an intuitive eater and is passionate about helping new parents find a positive and intuitive way of feeding their children.Originally from Germany, Ela now lives in Kent, UK, with her husband, two kids and dog.
